And I can't wait to meet this little guy (34 weeks along - but my OB thinks I will deliver in the next few weeks):
We are half way into February and we have been busy:
The other day while I was resting, Sam said, "Mommy, stay in the bed. I will go make lunch." A few minutes later I went to check on him and this is what I found:
We have been hanging out. I am not officially on bed rest, but my doctor told me to stay down, so I have been trying to do that. It's contagious:
The boys have enjoyed opening Valentines over the past few days:
And Lucas had a Valentine's Day Party at school:
Lucas participated in the morning announcements at school recently and did a fantastic job:
And we have been spending time with friends:
The boys' new favorite game to play is "store"...
And finally, the boys had some dental work done. It was the best dental experience we have ever had. We went for a cleaning the week before. The dental office has a play area (like at McDonald's) and movie theater in the waiting room. Then the whole experience is about a "journey" for the kids where they get gold coins for everything they do, and at the end they use those gold coins to buy prizes. And everyone gets a balloon and crown. It was incredible. The boys both willing had all of their x-rays done including panoramic x-rays (Lucas has never had any x-rays done before at all because the dentist could never get him to do them). The whole office is painted in an "under the sea" theme and every room has a huge TV and the kids watch a movie the whole time. We went back the following week and they both had some work done. They both did well and had a great experience. I wish we had found a place like this long before now!
