Luc's Birthday Celebrations + Grandma Susan in town

This year, we decided to do Lucas' birthday party earlier in the month, since people are always out of town around his actual birthday. I told Lucas he could invite all of the boys in his school class and Primary class (from church). Plus, he wanted to a neighbor boy who he plays with regularly and one girl from another kindergarten class, who he plays with almost weekly. It was a lot of kids (18 out of 20 attended), but we had so much fun! Since we were uncertain about the weather, we did an "Indoor Winter Olympics" theme and we played all sorts of indoor games which we had set up in the living room, dining room, and garage. All of the kids wore bandanas and each had an activity card on a string to check off activities:

Lucas said it was the best birthday ever, and I can see why. He had his birthday party earlier in the month, a cupcake party at school, a party in his church class, and then for his actual birthday, Grandma Susan was here and we took a family trip to Chuck E. Cheese:
